Completion of diploma in Information Technology, Information Sciences or related health discipline and/or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years ‘experience in information technology and/or health related discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience with computer software and databases. Experience in a functional leadership, deliverable coordinator or project manager capacity. Ability to transform end user functional requirements into a workflow based system design. Specialized depth in software technology. Industry knowledge and experience of physician billing practices. Experience leading staff and business clients. Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision. Superior customer relationship skills. Must possess a valid Canadian passport and/or documentation allowing entry into the USA for training and must be able to travel within Alberta.
Additional Required Qualifications:
All Non-Union Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusion in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a healthcare environment. Experience implementing, supporting and upgrading single vendor integrated platforms. Epic systems experience and/or training. Experience working with physician billing applications and/or physician billing practices and workflow. ITIL exposure or education.
