Family Medicine Teaching Clinics Coordinator
Your Opportunity:
The Family Medicine Teaching Clinics (FMTC) are academic teaching centres, where family physicians and multidisciplinary health teams work to take care of their patients and education future family physicians. The three locations of the Central Family Medicine teaching clinic, South Health Campus teaching clinic and the Sunridge Family Medicine teaching clinic have a total of 49 Family Physicians and clinical support from Medical Office Assistants, Receptionists, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals looking after around 25,000 paneled patients. This exciting new role is your opportunity is to be the physicians and staff first point of contact for the coordination of program initiatives, including process improvement, developing procedures and guidelines, creating and maintaining documentation, and leading projects as assigned. You will also work collaboratively with the Department of Family Medicine Quality & Informatics, Finance & Business, Education and Research Teams. You will be assisting the Medical Director, Academic Teaching Centres and Patient Medical Home and the Zone Clinical Department Manager by providing senior administrative support to the Clinic Steering Committee and coordinate FMTC project activities in the clinical, education, and research & scholarship domains. We are looking for the perfect mix of curiosity, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal and communication skills, balanced with a strategic mindset who isn’t afraid of a few analytics.
Description:
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
