Administrative Support IV
Your Opportunity:
Working under the general direction of the Unit Manager for Cardiac Procedures Central Referral, the Admin IV provides administrative support for the Cardiac Cath Lab booking office. Duties are varied and include: processing patient referrals, order entry, bookings, phone confirmations, creating charts and other clerical duties. The incumbent will be required to maintain all records associated with appointment scheduling and booking. Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year recent experience in a hospital environment in a clerical/administrative role is required. Proficiency with Rightfax, Netcare and Connect Care – Cupid Experience in a hospital ambulatory care environment is required. This position includes the following physical requirements: Pushing/Pulling motion with opening and closing file drawers. Periods of sitting, standing and walking may be required. Crouching and reaching to retrieve charts. Continuous computer and phone usage.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with the following IT systems is preferred: APPROACH, MUSE, ISCV, Experience with other ambulatory clinics is preferred. Experience in a Cardiology department is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
