One word that could describe Rocky Mountain House is “opportunity.” This multicultural community has that small town feel with big city amenities. Not only have residents realized that the traffic jams, lineups, and other annoyances that come with larger centres do not happen here, they are embracing the friendly, vibrant feel of the community. Rocky Mountain House has an active and helpful welcoming committee with the mission to assist all newcomers to the area in feeling welcome and becoming engaged and included in our community. Despite its size, Rocky Mountain House is fortunate to offer a wide spectrum of services to its trading area of 21,000 people.
