Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience as an ICU Unit clerk in the last 3 years. Proficient in Connect Care/Epic. Medical terminology. 1 year acute medical or surgical experience required. Demonstrated high functioning time-management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills through computer, verbal and written means, in a professional and mature manner. Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills – Knowledgeable of Microsoft office and Excel. Demonstrated ability to successfully establish relationships with both patients and families and engage them in their care.
Preferred Qualifications:Graduated from an approved MOA course.
