Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years in a dispatching role preferably in a healthcare environment, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Emergency Communications Diploma or two years post-secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice. Possesses or is working towards Quality Improvement certification/designations such as Lean Six Sigma Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization ideally managing within a unionized sector. Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex or diverse issues. Leadership skills, included demonstrated ability to comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Progressive leadership experience in a security environment, including 2 years' experience in a management role in security operations or dispatching. Ability to manage human, financial and physical resources within an operating environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Designation of Certified Health Care Protection Administrator (CHPA) from the International Association of Health Care Security and Safety is an asset.
