Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Claims and Non-Patient Billing, the Supervisor is a leadership role within Billing Cash & Collections department in Finance, Health Shared Services. This position is responsible/accountable for providing direction, leadership and organization of activities of the Finance Division. The position is accountable for ensuring that internal controls are effective in producing accurate and complete financial data.

Required Qualifications:

A post secondary degree, preferably in business, finance or accounting is required, with current enrollment in the CPA program. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Three to six years progressive accounting experience is required. Consideration will be given to candidates with both accounting and prior supervisory/management experience including the management of unionized staff.


Additional Required Qualifications:

You are creative, innovative, and committed to a team environment with demonstrated leadership skills. You have been part of projects, financial analysis initiatives. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, as well as a high commitment to providing quality services. Excellent business writing skills for preparing briefing notes and memos. Health Care experience is considered an asset as is experience working with complex database applications such as EPIC, HRCM, Microsoft Office Access and Oracle. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references.
