In addition to a state-of-the-art recreation facility, there are many outdoor and indoor activities available at our numerous parks and golf courses. Grande Prairie also has a vibrant arts and culture community, live theatre and a multitude of dining and shopping opportunities. The largest pediatric team in the North Zone provides a wide range of assessment and therapeutic interventions to children aged 0 – 18 years. On your team you will have Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Pathology, Early Childhood Intervention Program, Registered Dieticians, Social Work, and Audiology. A strong link with the Tertiary Hospitals in Edmonton is also key to service provision with our more complex clients. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Alberta Health Services currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
