Post secondary degree specializing in accounting or related field (e.g. economics, statistics).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three years' experience at progressive levels of responsibility in an accounting/finance environment. Significant MIS working knowledge/experience. Must have an understanding of AHS financial statements and the AH financial directive hierarchy. Experience with Oracle Business Suite and Oracle Business Intelligence. Proficient in reading and writing Oracle PL SQL scripts. Proficient in advanced MS Excel functions such as pivot, power query and VBA macros. Working knowledge in other MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:Professional accounting designation preferred. Candidates without a designation may be considered if demonstrated significant progress towards completion of designation requirements and extensive experience. Candidates with project management and/or AHS Improvement Way (AIW) experience is an asset. Experience in medium to large provincial projects preferred.
