Required Qualifications:

A science or health related master’s degree with strong quantitative component in a related field, e.g., epidemiology, community health sciences, statistics, data science, health informatics, quality assurance, or several years of equivalent experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum five years experience working with Administrative Health Data. Minimum five years experience working with databases and tools for querying, integrating, analyzing, interpreting, reporting and disseminating data. Minimum five years experience with statistical analyses of complex and large datasets. Minimum five years experience with database management of complex and large datasets. Three years experience managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Oracle SQL, SAS, python or comparable database management or statistical methodological tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients. Demonstrated aptitude for mentoring and leading a team or project. Demonstrated experience with change management in a professional environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and Access) and the ability to become proficient with new software packages.


Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Demonstrated capability applying ‘big data’ analytic techniques such as data mining, machine learning, statistical modeling, etc. Experience working with oncology data. Experience with Quality Improvement/Outcomes Improvement methods. Proficiency in Tableau or other visualization tools.
