Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to be self-directed and to exercise independent nursing judgment required. Strong interpersonal skills required. Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision-making and organizational skills are required. This position requires a vehicle for business use. Working knowledge of computer applications including basic word processing, email and internet access and data entry are required. Travel throughout Edmonton Zone is required during the IIP where required, including the City of Edmonton, and surrounding rural areas.
Preferred Qualifications:At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in public health nursing. Previous immunization experience, particularly with influenza and pneumococcal vaccines.
