Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology; or master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; or master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy; or master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years’ experience providing frontline care (e.g., acute, community, tertiary). Clinical experience in chronic pain management (minimum 5 years preferred). Excellent computer skills, including Zoom, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to learn and utilize multiple electronic platforms concurrently. Strong knowledge of mental health & substance use concerns across populations. Knowledge of the substance use & mental health system across the province and resources that may be useful for program participants. Virtual facilitation experience for groups of patients living with complex chronic conditions. Advanced skills in assessment & intervention for individuals of all ages with substance use and mental health concerns, including crisis intervention skills. interpersonal skills and ability to effectively liaise with various professionals. Pattern of professional & personal development. Experience in fostering and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships & and listening skills to comprehend, create & communicate concepts and options. Ability to develop and facilitate presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

Training on ACT, CBT & DBT. Group-based facilitation training preferred. Experience with a virtual and/or geographically dispersed team. Experience working with patient advisors. Program evaluation, project & change management. Facilitation and/or coordination experience in project planning. Experience with electronic charting (experience with Connect Care/Epic preferred). Ability to work confidently, independently & within collaborative partnerships.
