Alberta Health Services is looking for a casual Maintenance Worker I worker at the Red Deer -Minimum of 3 years previous managerial experience and supervision of personnel. A degree in Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar engineering discipline. Must be registered and maintain registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Engineers must have or be willing to pursue Certification in Canada as a Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE-CA). Minimum of 7 years relevant health care experience. Advanced education may be considered in lieu of experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Technologists who have graduated from a recognized Biomedical or Electronics Engineering Technology program. Must be certified as an Engineering Technologist (CET) with The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta. Have an additional relevant degree. Minimum of 15 years relevant health care experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge and experience with dialysis systems & RO waters systems would be an asset. Project Management certification and demonstrated past experience would be an asset. Past customer support activity would be considered an asset. Intermediate expertise in areas such as 3D printing or electronic design.
