Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Able to maintain daily operations of the clinic with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:Computer skills. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills with members of the public, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team is essential. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Willingness to learn new systems including connect care and scheduling/registration. Excellent attendance record. Experience within LTC is preferred. Knowledge of the CCHSS is preferred.
