Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:1 year nursing experience within the last 3 years in an acute medicine/surgical unit. Completion of Annual Compulsory Education.
Preferred Qualifications:3 years nursing experience within the last 5 years in an acute care (medical/surgical) unit preferred. Experience with Connect Care, Clinibase and Netcare programs preferred. Central venous catheter (CVC) certification preferred. Skin and wound care experience including VAC dressings preferred.
