Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or education, plus a certificate in Adult Learning, Educational Design, or related area. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. 5–7 years of instructional design and/or educational development experience with increasing responsibility. Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator preferred. Demonstrated strengths in needs identification, gap analysis, critical thinking, decision-making, and innovative problem-solving. Proven ability to: Seek and evaluate best evidence. Develop and facilitate presentations to convey or transfer knowledge. Communicate, collaborate, and manage projects with diverse stakeholders. Work independently with initiative, and plan and implement strategic education. Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of best practices in education design, engagement, and social movements. Strong team leadership skills, with comfort in decision-making, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and instill confidence in others. Experience or expertise with VideoScribe.
Additional Required Qualifications:Master’s degree with specialization in educational design, or in a health-related discipline. Training in Instructional design.
Preferred Qualifications:Mastery of instructional technology / design principles and processes in relation to developing face-to- face and online learning. Familiarity and experience with authoring tools (e.g., Captivate, Articulate, Lectora, VideoScribe). Knowledge of healthcare across the continuum. Well-developed project and team management skills.
