Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for full registration (not provisional) with the applicable regulatory college. A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 – 6 years of recent experience in addictions and mental health, preferably in community setting. Knowledge and skill in mental health assessment, risk assessment, crisis intervention, treatment, brief solution focused therapy or equivalent. Experience working with community and external stakeholders Strong abilities in working within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated contribution in emerging programs is essential Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) Efficient with LOCUS tool (Level of Care Utilization System) Ability to ambulate, climb stairs, and move quickly without limitations in a variety of environments. Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a vehicle in good working order for business related travel Candidate must be able to tolerate regular repetitive hand movements, keyboarding and telephone handling. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working closely with the Police and Crisis Team (PACT). Connect care trained. Willing to complete an enhanced security clearance via EPS.
