Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active or eligible for full registration (not provisional) with the applicable regulatory college. A minimum of 5 years' experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.
Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent knowledge of addictions and mental illness. Extensive knowledge of Suboxone/buprenorphine and Methadone Treatment. Advanced computer literacy. Above average keyboarding skills and proficient with computer programs – Outlook MS Office, MS Teams, Zoom, Connect Care, etc. Minimum 5 years’ experience in addictions treatment. Minimum 5 years supervisory and mentoring experience. Experience in the development of procedures. Must be knowledgeable in Motivational Interviewing and have experience in direct clinical supervision. Counselling background and leadership skills and training is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a virtual program. Strong working knowledge of the addiction and mental health system across the province. Advanced skills in assessment and intervention for individuals of all ages with addiction and mental health concerns including crisis interventions skills.
