Business Analyst - eLearning Developer CMIO
Your Opportunity:
This position is for an CMIO eLearning developer specialist who can operate with a high degree of independence, is client focused, and is dedicated to quality product delivery. The ideal candidate is proficient in image editing software, audio/ video editing software, and eLearning authoring software. At the time of the interview, applicants will be required to provide a minimum of 3 previous work samples of eLearning material that they personally developed. Our team is project based and simultaneously manages multiple initiatives that are deadline driven. This requires that team members are adaptable to shifting priorities and to assist colleagues when required to meet deadlines. The team’s project plan experiences ongoing adjustments and assignments are modified based on availability of content and the business clients’ timelines. Establishing strong relationships with our business clients through quality communication optimizes the goal of meeting the clients’ needs. Additionally, open communication with the teams’ instructional designers and developers is essential for timely quality production of learning material.

As a Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. You will interpret client needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard issues and requests, provide advice and direction to clients, and contribute to solutions by providing input into strategy, workflows and delivery for assigned projects and programs.

Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:Degree or certification in related field of study (eLearning development, instructional design, digital design). Equivalent work experience will be considered. Minimum of 3 years of recent applied experience producing interactive eLearning courses is required (instructional design or development). Digital image editing experience (work experience within the last 3 years). Video screen capture and editing experience. Audio and video editing experience. Ability to receive and provide feedback on work products. Strong communication skills including attentive listening to client requirements and frank status reports that are solution oriented. Flexible, organized, and resourceful. Committed to ongoing learning and improvement. Knowledge of adult learning principles and an eLearning development model/framework. Proficiency and experience using Adobe Captivate and/or Articulate.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience working on a project-based team that handles multiple concurrent initiates. eLearning instructional design experience. Proficient using of Microsoft applications particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Familiarity with MS Project, SharePoint, and Visio. Experience working in or with a large organization is an asset. Experience creating eLearning content for IT training or clinical content.
