A minimum of a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area. Excellent knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) is required. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years in a Human Resources role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is required. Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills. Strong teamwork, organizational skills, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Professionalism and the ability to respond to changing priorities and move seamlessly through various scenarios in a busy, detail oriented work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with a healthcare and/or unionized environment is preferred. Experience with/knowledge of Human Resource Management Information Systems (ePeople/PeopleSoft) is preferred. Experience leading and coordinating projects is preferred. CHRP or other recognized relevant designation is preferred. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
