A post-secondary degree with experience that aligns with the content area of the program (e.g., nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, epidemiology). Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Extensive knowledge of the health system and a minimum of 5 years' experience leading and implementing provincial or multi-zone initiatives. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Collaborative team player who has experience in developing strong working relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders. Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and managing competing timelines. Understands the complexities and inter-relationships between health service delivery organizations and sectors across the continuum within a Learning Health System. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influencing skills, patient focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services; ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations. Ability to handle complex issues and difficult situations. Proven abilities in negotiation, facilitation, conflict resolution, and project management are required. Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence decision-making through the synthesis and interpretation of data and evidence. This position will be part of Acute Care Alberta effective April 1, 2025. Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training in change management, quality improvement, implementation science, engagement, project management. Bachelor's degree, master’s degree optional.
