Administrative Support III
Your Opportunity:
As a member of the Payroll Operations Team, the Administrative Support III is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to the team. The environment is fast-paced and challenging. The Administrative Support III performs administrative tasks that are important to successful payment processing for the AHS 140,000+ employee base. The successful candidate should be a critical and analytical thinker, have an interest in Payroll and have a desire to advance in Payroll operations. The Administrative Support III will also field and respond to customer queries as required. Duties include Data Entry – Mileage, Car Allowance, Acting Pay, TD1, Banking Information. Process shift redistribution Forms. Run Queries reviewing: Schedules, and data entry. Print cheques generated from payment processing. Mail & Filing. Archiving Files. Posted Time Reports notifications and tracking. MS Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. Client/Customer Service interactions: Service now – tickets resolution; Verbal Communications; e-Records follow-up. Timekeeping for internal groups. Loading bi-weekly schedules. Investigate and clear time and labour expectations. Set up folders for payment processing, ensuring all files are complete and signed off. Review HR Changes for future impacts to payroll. Auditing HR entries for pay-impacting issues. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Post-secondary education in the office of business administration. NPI (National Payroll Institute) PCP completed certification or working towards. Strong computer skills and a demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:Previous PeopleSoft experience preferred. Previous experience in a unionized environment preferred.
