Your Opportunity:
We are looking for a maintenance III worker to be our Rolling stock / Bed Mechanic on site at the Misericordia Hospital. This position will include repairs to all Health Care Beds, Carts, and various other components. This employee will also be required to provide support to the other trades as needed on site. Please note: Classifications Under Review.
Description:
Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Worker III performs highly skilled repair maintenance and installation duties on complex mechanical systems and equipment requiring the use of schematics, blueprints and specifications in accordance with accepted standards, regulations and procedures. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

A 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate or a trade on the Government of Alberta list of Compulsory and Optional Certification Trades is required. Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Additional Required Qualifications:5th Class Power Engineering Certificate minimum or appropriate trades ticket required. 2 years HealthCare construction or healthcare maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Healthcare bed repair experience preferred (Hill-Rom / Stryker Etc.).
