Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience in routine Hematology/Coagulation within the last 5 years. Experience in a complex high volume workload setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of Hemostasis and Thrombophilia applicable to specialized coagulation. Competent performing special coagulation tests specific to site. Interpretive reporting experience. Strong analytical reasoning and decision-making skills. Strong analytical reasoning and decision-making skills. Esoteric/Specialty lab experience is an asset.
