Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience in a high-volume hub laboratory (within the last year preferred), including Chemistry and/or Urinalysis department experience. Experience with inventory management. Knowledge of Roche pre-analytical automation and/or urinalysis analyzers is an asset. Working knowledge of Infinity middleware and Epic LIS preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
