Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous customer service experience. Advanced communication skills and abilities. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team-orientated environment. Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills. You must have good manual dexterity for manipulation of samples. Strong data entry skills. Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction is important. Flexible schedule availability.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of WHMIS and SDS. Proficient in EPIC Beaker Laboratory Information System and Microsoft Office. Strong keyboard skills. Has interpersonal skills for dealing with people in a team-oriented environment. Experience in processing various water sources for bacteriological content.
