Required Qualifications:

A minimum post-secondary diploma in Volunteer Resources/Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Management in Human and Social Services. An equivalent combination of experience, volunteer management, education and training may be considered (e.g., Volunteer Administration Certification). This position requires a vehicle for business use. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work-related travel is required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Personal volunteer experience is essential. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience is preferred. Previous experience of 3-5 years in a similar leadership role within a volunteer service environment in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred (healthcare experience and an understanding of the concepts of Patient and Family Center Care principles an asset).
