Minimum 1 year management experience in a unionized healthcare environment within the last 3 years. Current CARNA and BLS registration/certification. Five years of experience in a healthcare environment. Demonstrated progressive leadership in a formal or informal leadership role (in scope or out of scope). Demonstrated routine use of emotional intelligence. Demonstrated experience in change management and project coordination or management. Demonstrated excellence in diplomacy, interpersonal skills, communication skills, and conflict resolution among leaders, staff, patients and families. Demonstrated leadership in engaging staff, interprofessional teams and/or management teams. Successful time management, prioritization skills and ability to cope with stress.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated expertise in coaching for performance. Involvement in site change initiatives, demonstrating a strong ability to collaborate. Acute care experience in internal medicine of 3 years or more an asset.
