Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree in nursing or other healthcare field plus appropriate licenses and designations. Demonstrated leadership ability in complex health care systems. Demonstrated ability to operate within a team environment and foster collaborative partnerships. Demonstrated leadership and participation in quality improvement, project management or patient safety. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, motivating and teaching staff. Previous experience in a management and/or leadership position within health care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in nursing, or equivalent. Completion of leadership development, quality improvement certification (AIW Yellow Belt/Green Belt, or other) and Change Management certification (PROSCI or other) courses in the past 3 years. Previous human, financial, and physical resource management experience in a leadership position in AHS. Previous experience in leading/supporting quality improvement projects. 5 years’ recent experience in the acute care setting.
