Baccalaureate of Nursing Degree required. Member in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Minimum of 5 years direct front-line health care experience with demonstrated informal leadership competencies. Current CPR certification.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership and competency in leading self, engaging others, achieving results, building relationships/coalitions, and championing system change and growth. Evidence of excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written). Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, coaching, and evaluation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with frontline department staff, families, and other internal and external stakeholders and leaders. Excellent conflict management and resolution skills. Must be able to organize time and resources effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous health care management experience an asset. Previous health care management in a NICU setting an asset.
