Graduation from a recognized Bachelor Level Degree nursing education program, supplemented by active registration and practice permit with CARNA, or equivalent degree. Minimum 3 years’ experience within the past 5 years of acute pediatric nursing and/or health care practice. Minimum 3 years’ experience within the past 5 years in a management and/or leadership position within health care.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent computer skills. Demonstrated effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, patient-family focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services required. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others Demonstrated ability to manage change, function in dynamic situations and manage conflict. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation and collaboration and to build solid relationships between inter-professional team members required. Strong Inter-professional conflict resolution and negotiation skills Critical thinking and complex analysis to support effective problem solving required. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development required. Self-directed and highly motivated. Ability to manage human, financial, and physical resources within an operating environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing, or Equivalent Completion of 3 Leadership related courses in the past 5 years.
