Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course program. Non-violent crisis intervention preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course, 3 yrs experience in an acute surgical setting desired. Proficient computer skills essential with advanced knowledge of MS applications and Connect Care. Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize work and cope with frequent interruptions in a demanding environment. Positive and effective and communication skills. De-escalation skill set an asset. Ability to take initiative, perform duties accurately.
