Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, Connect Care trained, Netcare, ESP & e-People required. A minimum of 3 years’ Timekeeping/payroll experience with AHS scheduling software (Kronos, ESP, e-people). Attention to detail will be crucial as you ensure that employees are scheduled appropriately, and employee pay data is captured in accordance with AHS policies, procedures, and collective agreement provisions. You will be the first point of contact for scheduling and payroll questions and concerns, so strong interpersonal skills are required. Detail to accuracy and timelines is required. Demonstrated reliability and dependability. Demonstrated excellence with interpersonal communications skills, including telephone skills is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions is required. Preferred Qualifications:Unit Clerk experience in a high acuity setting is preferred. Relevant experience will also be considered.
