Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Therapeutic Recreation Assistant or equivalent Diploma/Certification from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent experience required. Valid BCLS-HCP certificate required. Must be able to electronically chart. Proven organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Able to accept verbal and written instructions. Able to work with minimal supervision. Professional and courteous manner. Physically capable of pushing wheelchairs for an extended period of time over uneven ground, participating in wheelchair biking.
Preferred Qualifications:Preferably 1 year experience in a community Therapeutic Recreation program under the direction of a Recreation Therapist.
