Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:BLS-HC certificate. At least 1 year experience (0.5 FTE or more) working as a TA in acute and /or LTC setting.
Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of wheelchair modifications and small equipment maintenance. Previous experience working as a therapy assistant in long term care setting. Previous experience working as a therapy assistant in an acute care setting. Connect Care trained. Experience supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
