Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

We're seeking individuals with a strong foundation in rehabilitation principles and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. This position requires the physical ability to assist with patient lifts, transfers, mobility, and other hands-on clinical activities that are critical to supporting therapy goals in a rehabilitation setting. Demonstration of strong organizational skills, able to independently manage a dynamic caseload with minimal direct supervision, and ability to bring a creative, solution-focused approach to daily challenges are required. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—along with computer literacy are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting and in wheelchair set up/adjustment is an asset. Familiarity with Alberta Health Services’ Connect Care electronic medical record is also preferred.
