Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimal direct supervision and incorporate creative problem solving is required. An ability to adapt to changing needs is essential. Effective written, verbal, communication, and effective computer skills are required. The successful incumbent will be physically capable of performing lifts, transfers, repositioning, and other physically demanding activities associated with this role.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous working experience in a rehabilitation hospital/setting is preferred. Experience with Electronic medical record/Connect Care considered an asset.
