Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS - HCP). Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position. Bending, lifting, twisting, reaching and playing with children in an active setting is required in the role. Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal/public relations skills are required as are excellent communication skills. Effective team player. Sound judgment and decision-making skills. Must demonstrate a strong patient and family centered approach to care. Must have demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed service activity targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous work experience in Pediatric Speech Language Pathology service delivery in a community setting. Experience working in small groups or individually with children. Experience working with Connect Care is considered an asset. Experience with virtual service delivery an asset.
