Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience with a pediatric population. Previous experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting. Previous experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in a mental health hospital setting. CPR Certification required. This position works with children and youth experiencing significant mental health and behavior issues who may demonstrate dysregulation, loud voices, anger and anxiety.

Preferred Qualifications:

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Experience with adolescent population in a mental health hospital setting. Brain Story Certification. ASIST Suicide Training (or equivalent).
