Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1-year experience working in a rehabilitation setting, providing therapy to individuals with chronic conditions, complex needs and dementia care. Alberta Fitness and Leadership Certification (specialty; Fitness for the Older Adult) for applicants with a Recreation Therapy diploma or background. Valid Heart and Stroke (CPR). Health Change Methodology. Proven organization & time management skills. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Able to accept verbal and written instructions and perform responsibilities with minimal supervision. Professional and courteous manner. Physically capable of pushing wheelchairs for an extended period of time and performing client transfers required. Established skillset with Microsoft Office. Punctual, meticulous, and reliable. Demonstrates regular attendance
