Completion of Grade 12. Completion of certificate or diploma related to Emergency Communications and Response, Law Enforcement, Security or Criminology. Must be eligible for Solicitor General's Community Peace Officer Level II appointment.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with radio dispatch in a fast-paced environment with a background in the following areas: Emergency and other telephone communications/switchboard systems Microsoft Office proficiency, with focus on Excel and Word. Typing speed of 40 wpm. The ability to work in a fast paced and stressful work environment with long periods of time sitting at a desk.
Preferred Qualifications:Filing and records management systems. Experience in live surveillance monitoring. Customer service background. Experience working in a team environment.
