Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum one to three (1-3) years of relevant, related clinical experience working within pediatric rehabilitation and supporting complex acquired & congenital medical, neurological, oncological, pain, genetic, and somatic conditions. Minimum two (2) years of recent (last 1-2years) experience in tertiary rehabilitation service delivery. Minimum one (1) year knowledge, skills and experience in complex pediatric feeding & swallowing. One year knowledge, skills and experience in complex pediatric communication disorders. Knowledge and experience in neurological interventions, rehabilitative service, and transition support, community resources and programs. BCLS-HCP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience conducting and interpreting instrumental swallowing evaluations (i.e., VFSS and FEES). Knowledge and experience with Augmentative & Alternative Communication. Knowledge of community resources and programs. Hanen certification.
