Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent (within the last two years) clinical experience in a pediatric physical medicine/rehabilitation setting. One year knowledge of tertiary rehabilitation service delivery. One year knowledge, skills and experience in complex pediatric communication disorders. Recent (within the last 6months) knowledge, skills and experience in pediatric feeding & swallowing. One year of clinical knowledge in the areas of pediatric development, neurological conditions, acquired developmental disorders, neurodegenerative diagnoses, and musculoskeletal conditions. BCLS-HCP certification.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with Augmentative & Alternative Communication. Knowledge of instrumental swallowing evaluations. Knowledge of community resources and programs. Hanen certification.
