Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Recent experience with adult dysphagia including MBS assessments required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrated excellent organizational and time management skills to successfully complete multiple, competing priorities. Proven initiative, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a patient and family centered team of health care professionals and support staff. Current CPR (BLS - Health Care Provider Level C) certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Instrumental swallowing assessment experience within the last 3 years preferred. MBS Imp training preferred. Experience with FEES is an asset. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Experience in program development and practice improvement. Familiarity with clinical software including: Netcare, Nuance PS360 (dictation), Connect Care.
