Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year acute care experience (equivalent experience may be considered). Current experience with dysphagia management required. Current experience with and ability to complete, interpret and report on VFSS without supervision required. Heart and stroke CPR (BCLS-HCP) certification is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated problem-solving, planning and organizational skills are essential. Experience working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team is required. Demonstration of strong critical thinking is required. Ability to assist with patient transfers and repositioning is required. Ability to tolerate wearing a lead vest for up to 30 minutes is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Connect Care preferred.
