Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a large urban acute care hospital working with a variety of patient populations. Greater than 2 years’ experience performing Instrumental swallowing and bedside dysphagia assessments. Evidence of demonstrated leadership experience in strategic planning, leading change and evaluation. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Demonstrate knowledge and engagement in Speech Language Pathology related to best and leading practices, governance, legislation, ethics, current issues and trends. Demonstrated ability to guide and lead teams, build partnerships and foster effective relationships. Current CPR certification.
