Your Opportunity:

The e-People Training and Change Management (TCM) team is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of training material, courses (both e-Learning and Instructor-led), process documentation and communications for our HR systems, including e-People (PeopleSoft) and RMS (Taleo), and other supporting systems. We provide training and documentation for all timekeeping and time approval staff, manager, and employee self-service for all the Provincial Health Corporations, as well as our HR Shared Services Production Centre teams. Our team is also responsible for the development and maintenance of the business process maps, knowledge articles for our HR Contact Centre and provides support in the development of HR Forms related to e-People processes. The team is integral in supporting change management for system changes related to organizational changes/projects, process improvements and system upgrades. Description:

This position functions as a TCM Specialist with a primary responsibility to support training and documentation needs for the assigned functional teams within our HR Shared Services department. The position interacts with various teams in HR Shared Services and at times with groups across Health Shared Services such as HR Business Partnerships and HR Centres of Expertise. The TCM Specialist is required to become knowledgeable of their assigned specific functional area and be able to provide ongoing training and process documentation to support all system users. The TCM Specialist will be required to attend meetings with the team they support and be expected to work with autonomy, as appropriate. The TCM Specialist also performs analysis of change impacts, evaluates stakeholder impacts, and designs, develops, and delivers training, documentation and/or presentations on changes. The TCM Specialist is integral in the successful change management of HR-system process improvements and projects. Please note this position will work remotely initially but may be required to work in the office in the future.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of two years’ experience with creating and maintaining training resources and documentation, such as job aids, course materials and online resources. A minimum of two years’ experience working with HRIS systems, ideally with e-People (PeopleSoft), Human Resources or Change Management. Ability to transpose complex information into easily understood terms that supports various learning styles. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues to ensure effective communication and information sharing. Strong attention to detail focused on consistency, thoroughness, and accuracy in all aspects of the job, including being able to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to take initiative to investigate changes to understand the impact of the change to various stakeholders throughout the organization.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Professional writing skills and ability to produce high quality training and resource materials. Technical writing and process documentation experience. Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective training in a virtual setting. Familiar with instructional design or course development, as well as training and change management methodologies. Experience working in a shared services environment, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity.


Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding and knowledge of Collective Agreements. Experience with eLearning development and tools (Adobe Captivate) is an asset. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is required. MS Visio, and MS Project is considered an asset.
