Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Social Work. (equivalent education or experience may be considered). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have a masters degree in social work (MSW) from and accredited and recognized university program. Current full registration/licensure with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) with the ability to perform restricted activities is required. Minimum 3 years experience in the mental health field required. Minimum 2 years working within a community mental health program. Current knowledge and of and experience with Family/Domestic violence group facilitation. Training and experience in other varied individual & group therapy modalities, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy and other evidence based modalities. current Non-violent Crisis intervention.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent community mental health experience working with forensic populations preferred. Active working knowledge of criminal justice systems preferred. Couples and family therapy an asset. Knowledge and use of current domestic violence and general violence risk assessment tools preferred.
