Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience with individual and group therapy, addictions and health psychology. Experience with assessment (cognitive, psychological). Experience with crisis intervention. Excellent communication, documentation skills and the ability to participate as an interdisciplinary team member required. Desire to work with vulnerable and marginalized populations. Will be required to participate in sensitive and challenging patient situations and expected to deal with the public in diverse situations. A medium level of physical activity is required to fulfill job requirements including but not limited to prolonged periods of sitting, computer/ keyboard and telephone work. Sufficient mobility to stand for prolonged periods is required. Frequent need to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; as well as the frequent need to concentrate on precise detailed work.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with trauma-informed therapy/ counseling. Cultural competency training is an asset.
