Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of five years of experience in pediatric social work, preferably in an acute health care setting. Formal training and demonstrated ability to deliver trauma–informed interventions. Formal training and demonstrated ability in crisis intervention. Formal training and demonstrated experience supporting families through grief and loss. Demonstrated experience with the intersection of child welfare and medical Social Work to address child maltreatment and neglect. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize work and set priorities autonomously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced clinical skills and experience working within a variety of pediatric environments, including but not limited to the PICU, NICU, Emergency, and Palliative Care. Experience working with mental health concerns impacting the family system is an asset.
